R.I.P. Jim, you and great TV journalism are already missed.

Okay, there are still some good news shows, including the NewsHour, there is just so much BAD TV journalism, if one can call it that.

 I've been watching the nightly network news (at 6:30 Eastern) since 1965. Very hard habit to kick... stronger and even worse than cigarettes...which I quit (cold turkey) after 32 years.

Lucinda hates the network news now...especially since 2016. She will sometimes leave the room...but she usually just turns down her hearing aids.

I guess that's one of the few good things about getting old. She no longer has to hear the endless stream of bad news, or listen to me yelling and cursing at the TV. furious
