Is now T-Mobile Park

Okay, I was probably done with going to games anyway, but God Almighty, that's one UGLY, gag-inducing makeover!

Could be worse...Comiskey Park in Chicago became U.S. Celluar Field (AKA "The Cell"), and stayed that way for a long time.

Now it's "Guaranteed Rate Field"...home of the White Sux. The name sux, too. But at least the ballpark isn't PINK! YETCH!

The Safeco Field had a dignified look to it, the re-do has none at all.  I suppose taking out the traffic light was meant to be an improvement, too.  confuse

The T-Mobile photo, released just today, is an "artist's rendering" of what the new stadium will look like once all the changes are in place.  Pretty sure the traffic light will remain.  The stadium was designed to blend with the surrounding old part of Seattle, near Pioneer Square.  Nobody seems to care about that anymore hmm

I love magenta and pink and all shades in between--on me, not on a baseball stadium!

I didn't realize it's an artist's version.  Can't believe the City Council would approve it.  wink

I was going to say it was probably an artist's rendering.
Good thing I decided to scroll down a little bit more.
No way would they remove a traffic signal from a busy intersection.
