I got my journalism degree from what must have been one of the most piss-poor J-schools in the Midwest.

We used those same machines, both in class and while I worked as a reporter for the school newspaper.

In the LATE SIXTIES! The typewriters we used were ancient pieces of crap even fifty years ago. But they worked.

They went away a LONG time ago.

During Edsel's three model years, 1958-1959-1960, less than 120,000 Edsels were produced...which is next to nothing.

Cabooses!

Some have been sold to private owners and are now used as cabins or rental cottages or even condos.

Lucinda and I stayed in one, down in southeastern Ahia, six years ago. On my birthday. What fun!
